Ballistic Gear Drives Limited Warranty (Non-Commercial Use Only)
Ballistic Drives warrants the original purchaser of its gear reduction products to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of (24) months from the date of purchase. This warranty covers only defects in material or workmanship of the product when used in normal operations for private use ONLY, with the following exceptions:
Commercial Use Warranty
For commercial applications, the warranty terms remain the same as above, except the coverage period is limited to 90 days or 200 hours of use, whichever comes first.
Warranty Is Null and Void If:
The product is used with nitrous oxide at any horsepower level, boosted engines exceeding 1000 HP, or fuels/additives such as alcohol or nitromethane.
The product is installed in any airplane, or airboat used for racing.
Recommended routine maintenance has not been performed.
The product’s serial identification tag has been defaced, removed, or altered in any way.
The product is operated in extreme hot or cold conditions without proper lubrication.
Limitations of Liability
Ballistic Drives assumes no liability for damage resulting from improper installation, misuse, abuse, or failure to perform ongoing maintenance as outlined in the owner’s manual.
The limited warranty does not cover gearbox failures caused by engine-related issues or external events, including but not limited to:
engine failure or lockup
excessive overheating
propeller strikes
other similar external causes
During the limited warranty period, covered defects will be repaired or the product may be replaced, at the sole discretion of the manufacturer, at no charge to the customer, provided the product is shipped prepaid to:

Ballistic Drives shall have no liability or responsibility whatsoever for personal injury, property damage, or any special incidental, contingent or consequential damages resulting from any product failure. The exclusive remedy for any liability of the manufacturer in any case is the repair or replacement of the product or the return of the purchase price, at the option of the manufacturer.
NO OTHER WARRANTY, WRITTEN OR VERBAL, IS AUTHORIZED BY BALLISTIC DRIVES.
